“Bethany” is that unmistakable early-‘60s combination of alder, rosewood and maple — with all the sparkle, warmth and harmonic bloom you’d expect from a great ’62 S-Type. The aged Fiesta Red finish over Desert Sand primer is worn just right, and paired with nickel hardware and a beautifully broken-in “veneer” board neck, she’s a fiery take on a classic voice — bold, sweet, and supremely playable.
The hardware is all Nickel finish: Kluson split-post tuners and a Callaham vintage repro vibrato bridge with steel block and bent saddles for the right amount of cut and chime.
Our brand new Eternal “Timeless ’62” pickups are loaded under the hood — an exciting new voice in the Timeless range, offering exceptional clarity, touch response and midrange sweetness. Wired through our usual top-tier CTS, Switchcraft and CRL components (including a repro “Red Dime” paper in oil cap), she’s ready for decades of faithful service.
