'Biff' the '50s T-Type
This mid-‘50s inspired T-Type features a new set of Eternal Pickups, designed specifically to emulate the broader sounds associated with early 50’s single-cut designs. In common with the original early singlecoil pickup designs, they are slightly thicker and warmer sounding than the models that followed. To read more about these pickups, head to our pickup page and also hear them in action.
The guitar is solid ash with a one-piece maple neck and is simplicity itself. A vintage correct 7.25” radius is used for an authentic feel with very slightly larger than vintage sized frets for an easier playing experience. Elsewhere we have Gotoh and Kluson hardware with split-post tuners and a three=brass saddle bridge. Electronics are our usual top-notch CTS brass collar pots, a CRL three-way selector switch and a Switchcraft plate mounted jack-socket to ensure trouble free jack life. The two-tone nitro sunburst finish is lightly aged for a used but cared for aesthetic.
