'Dot' the Candy Apple Red T-Type

This heavily worn T-Type is built from my favoured wood combination of a solid ash body with a maple/rosewood neck. ‘Dot’ features some contouring that has become popular on our builds recently, and is our first stock build to incorporate our new bright and punchy Hot Rod '68 Special Bridge pickup. I opted for one of our tried and tested V90 pickup in the neck position to offer a depth and warmth that many standard T-Type neck pickups lack. Nothing else fancy going on with the electronics - just straight 250k CTS pots and a CRL 3-way selector into a side-mounted Switchcraft jack socket. 
The hardware Gotoh and Kluson with split post vintage style tuners and a three-steel saddle bridge. 
The striking Candy Apple finish is all nitro and we achieved by using the proper multi-layer trans red over gold nitro Candy Apple finish.
