The Eternal Dreamweaver™ captures everything we love about the finest mid-'60s S-Style guitars: effortless resonance, expressive feel and that unmistakable balance of sparkle, warmth and touch sensitivity.
Originally named by our good friend and long-time Eternal demonstrator Alex Ward, Dreamweaver has quietly become one of the workshop favourites. Every example we've built has been slightly different, each reflecting its owner's personality, but they all share the same philosophy: lightweight, beautifully resonant instruments that feel as though they've already lived a lifetime making music.
Whether you favour shimmering cleans, soulful blues, classic rock or expressive modern playing, Dreamweaver is designed to disappear beneath your hands and simply let the music happen.
Crafted Around the Player
Every Dreamweaver is built entirely by hand in our West Sussex workshop using carefully selected tonewoods and finished in an exceptionally thin nitrocellulose lacquer that's designed to breathe, resonate and age gracefully for decades to come.
Choose from lightweight ash, alder or Korina, paired with a beautifully figured maple neck and rosewood fingerboard. Neck profiles, fretwire, fingerboard radius, hardware and ageing can all be tailored to suit your playing style, making every Dreamweaver uniquely yours.
As with every Eternal guitar, only premium components are used throughout, including CTS pots, CRL switching, Switchcraft hardware, cloth-covered wiring, a hand-cut bone nut and your choice of Callaham or Kluson vintage-style hardware.
A Voice Full of Character
Dreamweaver is voiced to deliver exceptional clarity, dynamics and musicality.
The original Dreamweaver specification paired our Halo single coils in the neck and middle positions with an S90™ or S92™ bridge pickup, creating a wonderfully open, scooped and expressive voice that quickly became a favourite with players looking for something a little different.
For those who prefer a more traditional mid-'60s character, Dreamweaver can instead be fitted with any of our hand-wound Timeless™ single coils. Whether you favour the sweetness of our Timeless '62, the balanced articulation of our Timeless '64, or another voice from the Timeless family, we'll help you choose the combination that best complements your playing style and the sound you're chasing.
At the bridge, the choice remains between our S90™ and S92™.
The S90™ delivers the fat, vocal authority of a classic P90 while retaining superb clarity and definition, while the S92™, with its Alnico II magnets, offers a sweeter, more vintage-inspired character with exceptional balance and touch sensitivity.
Whether you choose a traditional vibrato or hardtail bridge, Dreamweaver responds effortlessly to every nuance of your playing.
