Eternal "Mirella" T-Type

£2,850.00Price

Grace, Clarity and Timeless Expression.

The Sweet Voice of 1963 reimagined.

Quantity

The Eternal "Mirella" captures everything we love about the beautifully balanced T-Type guitars of the early 1960s, combining timeless style, effortless playability and the unmistakable voice of our hand-wound Timeless '63 pickups.

Built around a lightweight two-piece alder body and weighing just 6 lb 12 oz, Mirella pairs a beautifully worn maple neck with a dark veneer rosewood fingerboard and a sympathetically aged Fiesta Red nitrocellulose finish. The result is a guitar that feels instantly familiar from the very first chord.

Graceful, articulate and endlessly expressive, Mirella delivers all the sparkle, warmth and dynamic response that made these instruments legendary, while incorporating the thoughtful refinements and meticulous craftsmanship that define every Eternal build.

Body & Finish

Mirella begins with a carefully selected two-piece centre-joined lightweight alder body, chosen for its lively resonance, exceptional balance and responsive attack.

Finished in paper-thin Fiesta Red nitrocellulose lacquer, the body receives Eternal's signature hand ageing, featuring subtle lacquer checking, sympathetic edge wear and the naturally broken-in appearance of an instrument that's spent decades making music.

The paper-thin finish allows the alder body to resonate freely, producing a guitar that feels lively, responsive and remarkably alive beneath your hands.

Neck & Feel

The one-piece maple neck is topped with a beautifully dark veneer rosewood fingerboard, complete with vintage-correct clay dot markers and softly rolled fingerboard edges.

Carved to a comfortable medium C profile, it feels wonderfully broken in while offering exceptional comfort across every style of playing.

Traditional appointments include:

  • Vintage-correct 7.25" radius

  • 21 Jescar FW57110 jumbo frets

  • Hand-cut bone nut

  • Rounded fingerboard edges

  • Worn tinted nitrocellulose finish

Measuring 21.8mm at the 1st fret and 24.0mm at the 12th, the neck strikes a perfect balance between vintage authenticity and modern confidence, allowing effortless bends while retaining the unmistakable feel of an early-'60s original.

Timeless '63 Pickups

At the heart of Mirella lies our hand-wound Timeless '63 pickup set.

Designed to capture the wonderfully balanced voice of early-'60s T-Type guitars, they deliver everything players love about this golden period: crisp articulation, rich harmonic detail and remarkable dynamic sensitivity.

Bridge Pickup

Bright, chime-like highs combine with focused mids and a tight, percussive attack that cuts effortlessly through the mix without becoming harsh.

Neck Pickup

Warm, open and beautifully articulate, with exceptional clarity, smooth low end and expressive dynamics that encourage soulful lead playing and rich, complex chord work.

From classic country twang and blues grit to sparkling cleans and vintage rock bite, the Timeless '63 set responds naturally to every nuance of your playing.

Every pickup is individually hand scatter-wound using traditional materials and construction techniques. The bridge pickup receives traditional light black wax potting for dependable performance, while the neck pickup is lacquer dipped in the manner of original early-1960s examples, preserving its wonderfully open, articulate voice and authentic vintage character.

Hardware & Electronics

Every component has been selected to complement Mirella's lively acoustic character.

A traditional vintage-style ashtray bridge, fitted with three knurled steel saddles, delivers the unmistakable snap, attack and harmonic complexity that define a great early-'60s T-Type.

Vintage-style Kluson split-post tuners provide dependable tuning stability while completing the authentic appearance.

Premium electronics include:
