Our Tribute to the Big-Headstock CBS-Era Icons

“Gloria” is our tribute to the bold, big-headstock electric guitars of the late 1960s — the powerful instruments that defined the sound and look of the CBS era and became iconic in the hands of players like Hendrix during the Band of Gypsys years.

With a sleek reverse headstock, deeply aged black nitro finish and unmistakable late-’60s styling, Gloria is pure attitude - built for players who crave feel, power and presence. She has that unmistakable late-’60s swagger - powerful, dynamic and built to sing through a loud amp. While sometimes overshadowed by their earlier counterparts, many late-’60s instruments developed a distinct tonal identity of their own: gutsy, dynamic and full of clarity. A big part of that character came from subtle shifts in pickup design, and we’ve captured that voice with our hand-wound Timeless ’69 pickups, built with plain enamel wire and grey-bottom flatwork for period-correct tone and appearance.

Tone, Vibe and Authority

Crafted from lightweight Korina, the body delivers warm, woody resonance with excellent harmonic complexity, pairing beautifully with the substantial maple neck.

This is no slim carve. Gloria features a full vintage C profile, measuring almost an inch deep from the first fret through to the twelfth. Combined with a 43.2 mm nut width, 7.25" radius and Dunlop 6000 jumbo frets, the result is a neck that feels powerful and confident in the hand.

Perfect for blues-drenched bends, expressive lead playing and bold chord work, this neck comes alive when pushed through a cranked amplifier.

Vintage Spirit, Modern Refinement

Gloria blends authentic late-’60s aesthetics with thoughtful boutique upgrades.

The reverse headstock gives the instrument its unmistakable silhouette, while Highwood saddles and Raw Vintage vibrato springs improve feel, sustain and tuning stability without sacrificing vintage character.

Schaller split-post tuners provide rock-solid performance while maintaining a classic appearance, and the electronics are wired with the same high-quality components used throughout the Eternal range.
