"Harriet" is our take on an early single-pickup E-Type, but with a few tweaks to the classic design. We've used a semi-solid ash body construction to ensure a lightweight feel, open the voice, and add resonance. It also reduces the weight, so the finished guitar weighs a mere 5 Ibs 7oz. A one-piece maple neck with a deep V to C profile and vintage correct 7.25" radius with rounded edges provides a fantastic broken-in playing feel, and jumbo Jescar FW57110 frets add solidity and ease over actual vintage correct tiny frets.
Elsewhere, the hardware is Gotoh vintage repro with slot-head screws throughout and a hand-cut, lacquered and aged Bakelite pickguard.
The juice comes from our new "B90" single-coil pickup, which offers the best of our grunty "Broadcaster" and "T90" pickups. A hand-cut bone nut with CTS and Switchcraft electronic components, a BumbleBee capacitor, and cloth-covered hook-up wire throughout finalise the spec.
