The comfortable soft "V" profile maple neck is paired with a dark rosewood fingerboard featuring vintage-correct clay dot markers, a traditional 7.25" radius, and 21 jumbo 6000 frets. At the heart of Kimberly is a pair of Eternal Timeless Mini-Humbuckers, hand wound in our workshop using plain enamel wire and left unpotted for maximum openness and harmonic complexity. Like our acclaimed PAF Replica pickups, they deliver exceptional clarity and dynamic response, but with a voice all of their own. Bright, articulate and beautifully balanced, they preserve the attack and definition of the lightweight ash body while adding the warmth, fullness and hum-free performance that make mini-humbuckers such an inspiring choice.
Premium hardware throughout includes a vintage-style cut-down ashtray bridge with three brass saddles, Kluson vintage-style tuners, CTS 500k brass collar potentiometers, a CRL three-way selector switch, Orange Drop capacitor, Switchcraft jack socket and cloth-covered wiring. Every component has been selected to complement the guitar's naturally resonant acoustic character.
