Every Halo set is individually scatter-wound by hand using premium materials selected for performance rather than historical convention.
Built around hand-bevelled Alnico 5 magnets and wound using Eternal's exclusive proprietary metric-specification coil wire, Halo delivers exceptional string definition, dynamic range and harmonic complexity while retaining the effortless feel and responsiveness that inspired its development.
Each pickup receives a light wax potting, reducing unwanted microphonics while preserving the lively response and natural bloom expected from a great hand-wound single coil.
For players seeking complete vintage authenticity, Halo is supplied with a traditional non-RW/RP middle pickup, with all three pickups wound in the same direction. A reverse-wound, reverse-polarity middle pickup is available on request for hum-cancelling operation in positions two and four.
