T-Type Junior 2010
This was my first ever "T-Type Junior" build, from the first few years of manufacture, and features an all mahogany construction with a semi-hollow body, set neck, Gibson scale-length and nice beefy neck profile with a 12" radius and medium jumbo frets. There's an early "Dreamer" ‘bucker-sized P90 which means any normal, full-size Humbucker - including my own PAF Replicas - will drop easily into the rout should that be a preference.
Wiring is as simple as it gets with no fuss master volume and tone controls straight out to the jack.
The all nitro finish has aged quite spectacularly with some big old cracks and deep checking, from some extreme temperature changes (it's been gigged across the globe) but it feels fabulous to play after a little set-up work and some new strings. There’s also a handcut Bakelite pickguard, and
she weighs in at just under 6Ibs!!!
