“Tatiana” is an early/mid-‘60s inspired S-Type built with a lightweight two-piece alder body mated to a slim, C-profile neck. The acoustic voice is immediate with great clarity - perfect for a transparent pickup set. The neck is a slim C-shaped profile with a slab rosewood ‘board and jumbo 6000 size frets across the 7.25”” radius for a vintage-enhanced playing feel. The all nitro finish is an aged three-tone sunburst with worn and tinted lacquer on the rear of the neck for a wonderful, broken in playing feel.
Hardware is Gotoh and Kluson with our usual top-notch, highest quality CTS, Switchcraft and CRL electronic components on a full-sized aluminium shielding plate beneath a mint green aged pickguard. The pickups are our own lacquer-potted, Heavy Formvar wound “Timeless ’64” set with bevelled magnets.
