Vintage-Inspired Construction
The Timeless ’63 set uses materials and construction techniques associated with early-1960s pickup design.
Both pickups feature height-staggered, non-bevelled Alnico 5 magnets, lacquer-insulated fibre flatwork and hand scatter-wound coils using plain enamel wire.
The neck pickup, wound with 43 AWG wire, produces a warm, woody voice with excellent clarity and articulation.
The bridge pickup, wound with 42 AWG wire, provides the perfect balance of sweetness and sparkle while retaining the familiar bite of a classic Tele bridge pickup.
Together they create a set that is balanced, expressive and highly responsive to playing dynamics.
