Timeless '63 Pickup Set for Tele

The latest addition to the “Timeless Pickup Series,” our “Timeless '63 Pickups for Tele” recreate the bright, chiming, yet warmly dynamic tones of the early ‘60s pre-CBS Tele.

We use era-correct, height-staggered, non-bevelled polepieces, which are punched into hand-sanded flatwork, which is then lacquer-insulated. These bobbins are then hand-wound using Plain Enamel-coated wire to produce an authentic, crisp, articulate and uncompressed voice with a subtle yet punchy midrange bias. The neck pickups are wound using 43AWG to produce a percussive, woody voice, and the bridge unit uses 42AWG to deliver a sweet spot of warmth with clarity - perfect for all styles of popular music.
